PUT A BIRD ON IT, ASSEMBLAGE, 18X13.5, MIXED MEDIA

This remains one of my personal favorite creations many years later. This is entirely assembled using found or discarded objects - including the wonky box which is made of wood scraps wedged together and coated in scrap paper, glue, and paint. My favorite thing about this, is that half way through I was running low on usable found objects, so I sent my two daughters and their friends out on a scavenger hunt, promising to include whatever cool items they found.
