HI, I’M JEREMY KRANZ, AN ARTIST AND DESIGNER FROM SILVERTON OREGON.

I’ve been drawing, painting and creating from early in my childhood and always knew I would work in a creative field. By the time I was 7, I had shoe boxes full of business cards and clothing tags because I loved design. In fact my mom, who is also a painter, used to steal fancy name brand clothing tags from stores in the mall for my collection. True story! I’ve loved and understood art and design for as long as I can remember.

Following my passions, I pursued a Visual Communications degree in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Seattle. Equipped with a solid foundation in design principles and an exciting portfolio, I set out on an exciting professional journey that allowed me to explore various facets of the industry.

After college, my career took off swiftly. I began as a print shop designer where I further learned the ins and outs of bringing work to press, and soon found myself serving as an Art Director for a weekly Seattle newspaper. Eager for newer, more brand driven challenges, I took positions at two small boutique design agencies. During my tenure at these agencies, I had the privilege of working with many notable clients. One agency specialized in the meeting and facilities division of Westin Hotels and other large hospitality organizations, while the other focused on creating business identities and advertising campaigns for the telephony industry. These experiences enriched my understanding of the combined power of branding and the art of shaping visual identities and how those things impact the real life world we all live in. Design is a powerful thing!

I eventually transitioned into freelancing, embracing the freedom to work with a wide range of clients and constantly learning new industries and the needs they had. I've collaborated with small local businesses, self-employed professionals, and large global brands, bringing their visions to life through impactful design and comprehensive branding strategies.

While graphic design has been my professional focus, I've never lost touch with my roots as a fine artist and over the last ten years fully dove into mastering those skills. In my artistic endeavors, I create original, large-scale acrylic paintings that burst with vibrant colors. My work revolves around the breakdown of basic shapes and the interplay of small details meant for close-up viewing, blending with large details that define the overall image. The result is a visual narrative that unfolds through multiple perspectives, revealing layers of intricacy akin to striking pop art compositions.

As I continue to evolve as an artist and designer, I remain committed to pushing boundaries and challenging conventional norms. The goal is to send a clear interesting message, intent, a story, a call to action, a statement - in visual form. My goal is to leave a lasting impact through my art, to ignite conversations, and to create connections that transcend time and space.

Thank you for joining me on this artistic journey, and I look forward to sharing my creative endeavors with you and helping to shape yours!
