INDICA, SATIVA, 24x48, ACRYLIC ON MULTIPLE LAYERS OF PLEXIGLASS

A great commission for a Cannabis shop. I took a “botany artist” approach to this one. This is painted on 3 layers: a backboard, and two sheets of offset plexiglass. As the viewer “moves around” the art the images move and reveal other small details due to the layering. On either side I showed the affects of the two different strains, Sativa and Indica.
